'Getting the facts right' commander corrects details on deadly Wainwright fire
Maj.-Gen. Wade Rutland, commander of 1st Canadian Division, corrected information he provided in the immediate aftermath of the deadly tragedy at CFB Wainwright.
Rutland initially said Sunday that the injured soldiers had been conducting a section attack range. However, he said today they were in fact setting up for a pairs range — where two soldiers attack a target, taking turns covering one another — a step before the larger-scale section attack range.
Rutland also initially estimated the investigation would take a month. But on Thursday, he said he had underestimated the scope for the board of inquiry, 'which will take as long as it takes.'

Crepes SALADAS de avena y espinacas | Rellenas de pollo y SALSA CÉSAR casera
¿Quieres sorprender con unas crepes saladas diferentes, vistosas y llenas de sabor?
Joseba Arguiñano y Dafne Fernández te enseñan a preparar unas crepes de espinacas con pollo César, una receta completa que convierte la clásica ensalada César en un plato único. La masa, hecha con harina de avena y espinacas, queda verde, fina y muy vistosa.
El relleno lleva pechuga de pollo salteada con tomillo, picatostes crujientes y una salsa César cremosa con anchoas y parmesano.
¡Una forma original de comer verduras y proteínas en un solo bocado!
INGREDIENTES (2 personas):
-Para la masa:
100g de harina de avena
150ml de bebida de avena
2 huevos
50g de espinacas
20ml de aceite de girasol
1 pizca de sal
-Para el pollo:
1/2 pechuga de pollo
50g de pan del día anterior
80g de rúcula
Aceite de oliva, tomillo y sal
-Para la salsa César:
1 huevo + 1 yema
1 diente de ajo
1 cucharada de vinagre de Jerez
250ml de aceite de oliva
5 gotas de salsa inglesa
3 gotas de salsa picante
80ml de nata líquida
8 anchoas en salazón
120g de queso parmesano rallado
👨🍳 PASO A PASO (trucos en el vídeo):
Masa: Tritura las espinacas con los huevos, la bebida de avena, la harina, el aceite y la sal. Deja reposar 15 minutos.
Salsa César: Haz una mahonesa con el huevo, la yema, el ajo, el vinagre, la salsa inglesa, la picante y el aceite. Añade las anchoas picadas, el parmesano y aligera con la nata.
Picatostes: Corta el pan en daditos y tuéstalos en una sartén sin aceite hasta que estén crujientes.
Pollo: Corta la pechuga en tiras, sazona con tomillo y saltéala 4-5 minutos.
Crepes: Vierte un cucharón de masa en una sartén antiadherente, extiéndela y cocina por ambos lados hasta que esté dorada. Repite con el resto de la masa.
Montaje: Rellena cada crepe con salsa César, pollo y picatostes. Dóblala y sírvela sobre una cama de rúcula. Decora con salsa, una anchoa, un picatoste y un trozo de pollo.
